88029 zip code; The Village of Columbus, New Mexico and it's surrounding unincorporated areas.

The Purpose of pjp88029 is for the 88029 Citizens & Residents:

To come together in a non-partisan, non-denominational, non-governmental setting
To Identify & Discuss current and past problems that the 88029 population has endured;
and, subsequently; To offer Ideas & Solutions that may eventually be presented to
The Village's Governing Body of the Village Council & Mayor.

The "Pajama Party" theme:

Was chosen to Identify our grassroots movement because it represents the "Pajama Parties" of our youth;
Those late nights when we got together with good friends and stayed up talking about anything and everything; Which led to times of caring, bonding, lifelong friendships, and, sometimes,
The Birth of Ideas that eventually became realities in our world as we grew older.

Is to foster in our Adult Life's, in this Very Special & Very Small community:
The same sense of Caring For & About each other here that will lead to bringing about better lives & lifestyles for our 88029 Citizens & Residents.

The operating Principle & Premise of our Online Discussions will be:


"Is this something that is Good for the Village as a Whole; or Only for the benefit of a Select Few?"

2. That you are willing to THINK, DISCUSS, & LISTEN to feedback from others even when there is disagreement; without resorting to nasty name-calling & insults.
3. That you may be willing, if asked, to PARTICIPATE & put actions behind your words to help present ideas & solutions of The pjp88029 to The Village of Columbus Council, sometime in the future, if need be.
